A New Beginning

The past year has been a wild ride which has taken me places I never saw myself going! When God has a plan he has a plan!! I see that I have not posted since last June, so this post will be a quick play by play of the past year!

In May I started to date a wonderful man named Darryl Heskin!

We hit it off right from the start! We started to hang out together more and more and in August we professed our love for each other! We have been going strong ever since! He fits into my family just perfectly, and I adore his as well!! We have SO much in common! On February 14th (at 12:30am) Darryl asked me to marry him!!!!!!!! I was blown away, and never happier in my life!! I said YES, and now we are on our journey to the alter and becoming husband and wife!

Tomorrow I am moving to Saskatoon, and will start a new job on Wednesday! I am VERY excited about this new chapter, and know that with God leading us we will be just fine! I will be living with my sister and brother in law until the wedding and will get to see lots more of Darryl and his family, which I am SO happy about!! I have truly never been happier in my life, and I love Darryl so much! I am blessed to be entering such a wonderful family! They have made me feel like family right from the start!

So there you have it! An update of the past year! I will post more often, for sure!

BUBLE!

On Jan 18th my friend Melissa and I drove to Saskatoon and met up with my friend Sandy to go and see Michael Buble!! It was a wonderful evening and just so fun to be with these 2! I will definately go again when he comes!

Here is another one of my FAV songs, that totally uplift me! East to West by Casting Crowns. The words are so powerful, and deals with what we ALL go through from time to time! Many times I feel like God should just give up on me, yet I know he never will. Which is why it is so important to give our lives to him everyday! Fun and Mud, and Mud!!!!

Today I spent a wonderful afternoon with my cousin Barb!! She took me quading and what a BLAST!!!! Of course we laughed quite a bit, but it was just so fun! Here are a few pics!!

What an awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon!! Especially when I got to come home and have a warm bath!! lol Thanks for the GREAT day Barb!!! XOXO
